no it's just that you have to move it on different pegs to embroider the larger space since the se400 can only understand things in a 4"x4" space. and as such you have to digitize it accordingly. embird has a thing where if you just design the entire large image, it splits it for you, so other programs may too. but you also have to specifically mark where it has to start for each time you switch pegs, so it seems like it'd be really easy to mess up if you didn't start the needle in the right position. if you want it, i'll sell you mine cheaper than what it goes for on amazon. i've used it once i think. i'm not sure if i have the box anymore but i think i still have the instructions.
